I have a fully done, scripted n boarded comic made for a uni module in 2015, based of Roald Dahl’s Lamb to the Slaughter, a short story where a pregnant woman murders her detective husband after he confesses an affair to her, and her consequent journey to keep her and her baby out of prison. The main thing that keeps her out of trouble, apart from her tidying up her tracks rather well, in the original is that the policemen investigating don’t consider Mary, a pregnant woman, a real threat at all.
It’s been one of my favourites since i was a kid.
This lady kills a man with a frozen leg of lamb, it’s the best you guys.
I really wanted to see how it would look in my current style and to see how well i could recreate my traditional inked style in a digital method, and i love the results. I’d really love to do the whole thing at some point, it’d be so satisfying to bring mary off the storyboards and flesh her out.

this is the best response that post has gotten me so thank you so much for your kind words! that post gets so much stupid responses most of which I’m sure are for attention, but more than that, it got to the point that every time I logged onto tumblr all I saw was reactions to that post and nothing else! it was more a practical reaction than an emotional one. anyways, thank you so so much!
